Stiga BC 740 B Petrol Brushcutter

The BC 740 B brushcutter from top Swedish brand Stiga is a high-performing, easy-handling and solidly built machine capable of taking-on tough landscaping applications, both commercial and heavy-duty domestic.

Delivering a beefy 1.6hp of power is a high-capacity 35.3cc Stiga air-cooled two-stroke engine, which combines a digital coil with a fuel primer and butterlyfly-valve carburettor to make getting started fast and stress-free.

The Stiga BC 740 B is flexible in use, coming as standard with a twin-line grass-trimming head and three-tooth metal brushcutting-blade (the line-head has a 43cm cutting-swathe for increased productivity).

It features a bump-feed mechanism on the line head, so you can stay in your working position when the cutting-cord requires renewal; and it’s built around a large 28mm-diameter shaft that confers superior robustness and durability.

So as to ensure you can complete all-day tasks in comfort, Stiga supply this model with a double shoulder-harness that optimises weight distribution and reduces stress on the operator’s shoulders.
