Its hugely powerful 2200w electric motor drives a self-lubricating hydraulic ram that applies a massive six-ton downward pressure on the subject-log, thereby ensuring even the most knotted hardwoods can be split without problem. Logs up to 25cm in diameter and 52cm in length are acceptable.

The Handy THLS-6G Horizontal Electric Log-Splitter combines a low centre of gravity with a pair of large transport-wheels, so it will remain safely stable during the splitting process.
